Obituary of Aleta Rumrill

Mrs. Aleta Mae Rumrill 64 of 5936 State Hwy 29 St. Johnsville, died Tuesday November 29, 2005 in Nathan Littauer Hospital Gloversville, after suffering an attack at home earlier in the day. She was born in Little Falls on April 13, 1941 the daughter of Howard and Mary (Jenison) Johnson and attended Oppenheim School. Her marriage to Olin M. Rumrill took place on October 21, 1967 in the town of Oppenheim. Mr. Rumrill predeceased her on February 16, 2002. Aleta had been employed by the Daniel Green Company of Dolgeville, several years ago. She was of the Methodist Faith, and her hobbies included sewing cooking, fishing, hunting and camping with and for her family and friends. She is survived by her sons and their wives Arthur and Colleen Rumrill of Johnstown, Robert and Karen Rumrill of Ft. Plain, Richard & Eva Rumrill of Oppenheim, Michael and Cindy Rumrill of Ft. Plain, and Brian & Tina Rumrill of Salisbury, her daughters Anna Tennant of Lawrence, Mass. And Gail Rumrill of Little Falls, Her Brothers Charles and Edward Johnson both of Oppenheim, her Sisters Ella Sweet of Johnstown, Mary Jodway of Stratford and Elsie Goodwin of Stratford, 19 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Kenneth Johnson on September 3rd of this year. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 AM at the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville. The Rev. Kenneth Sickler will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ephratah Rural Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7PM.
