Obituary of Nan Servello

Nan T. Servello, 89 a long time Herkimer resident, passed away on Wednesday November 2, 2005 at the Folts Home, Herkimer. She was born October 27, 1916 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Benedetto and Catherine (Accrocco) Ciuffa and was educated in Little Falls schools. Her marriage to Frank E. Servello took place on June 8, 1940 at St. Anthony?s Church in Herkimer by the late Reverend G. Purificato. The couple shared a blessed union of 63 years together until the passing of Mr. Servello on March 29, 2003. Nan was last employed at the former Joy Taylor Corp. Dress Factory in Mohawk. With family as her foremost priority, Nan proved her self to be a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her daughter, Eugenia (Jeanie) Lynet and her husband James, Jr. of Liverpool, 3 grandchildren, James Lynet III and his wife Andrea of Baldwinsville, Jill Smith and her husband Eric of Baldwinsville, and Amanda Marques and her husband Christopher of Albany, 5 great grandchildren, Gabrielle & Zachary Lynet, Eric & Eva Smith, & Isabella Marques, in-laws, John & Carol Servello of Ilion, & Mrs. Orlando Servello of California, and several nieces & nephews. She was pre-deceased by 3 brothers, Alessandro, Mario & Albert Ciuffa, and 2 sisters, Florence Zember & Rose Luppino. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 7, 2005 at 9:45 am from the Holleran & Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer, and at 10:30 am from the Church of Sts. Anthony & Joseph, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Anthony Ligato, pastor. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Sunday November 6, 2005 from 4-6 pm. All memorial contributions may be made to Folts Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
