Obituary of Pamela Sullivan

Pamela K. (Nolan) Sullivan, 55, of Forge Hill Estates, passed away on Thursday morning, July 14, 2005 in Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown. At the time of her passing she had the support and comfort of her family at her side. She was born on February 16, 1950 in Little Falls a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Bleaking) Nolan and graduated with the Herkimer High School, "Class of 1968." She attended Mohawk Valley Community College. The couple moved to Ilion eight years ago. Her marriage to Jerry Sullivan took place in 1970 at St. Francis de Sales Church, Herkimer. Pam's last employment was with Herkimer County BOCES where she was food service coordinator, retiring in March of 2005 after 18 years of dedicated service. Pam is survived by her beloved husband: Jerry of Ilion; a daughter: Kathleen "Kate" Kurdziolek and husband Mark of Ill; a son: Jeremiah Sullivan, Jr. and wife Holly of Pa.; three sisters: Karen Grande and husband James of Georgia; Deborah Nolan of Cassville, NY and Jody Joslin and husband Paul of Newport; six grandchildren: Kyle, Colin, Ian, Jeremiah, III., Jacob and Johnathon; two godchildren: Marta Joslin and John Paul; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Nolan in 1974. In respecting Pamela's final wishes, there will be no public visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to her Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated by the Rev. Mark Cunningham from St. Francis de Sales Church, Herkimer on Saturday afternoon, July 16, 2005 at 1 p.m. Entombment in Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer, will take place in the family mausoleum to be erected at a later date. The family is being served by the Holleran & Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer. Memorial offerings can be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available in the vestibule of the church on Sat. afternoon.
