Mrs. Linda Lee Taylor 61 of 45 Elm Street Dolgeville, died Tuesday evening December 27, 2005 at her residence of natural causes. She was born in Oneida, New York on November 15, 1944 the daughter of Dorothy (Pringle) Schneider of Canastota and the late Lynn Caldwell Jr. Linda was a graduate of Canastota High School, and continued her education by receiving a BS degree from Buffalo State College and her Master degree in Education from Elmira College. Prior to residing in Maine she taught Home Economics at VVS High School in Vernon, New York for 12 years. While a resident of Maine she served as the Director of Hospice in Colis, Maine and also volunteered at several local activities. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Surviving her is her husband Robert M. Taylor whom she married on December 21, 1985 in Mattawamkeag, Maine, her Mother Dorothy Schneider of Canastota, her daughters Ronda L. Cobb and Marni M. Taylor both of Maine, a Brother Robert Schneider of Massachusetts, a Sister Sharon Wolfe of Maine, her Granddaughters Makalya, TiaMarie, and Willow, also several Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by her step father Robert Schneider. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday January 7th, 2006 at 3PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 679 Brockett Road Dolgeville, New York. There are NO Calling Hours. Linda may be remembered with memorials to the Congregation of the Dolgeville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses or to the Hospice & Palliative Care Inc. 4277 Middle Settlement Rd.
