Obituary of Maurice Tinker

Maurice K. Tinker, 79 a long time Frankfort resident passed away on Friday September 9, 2005 at his home after a long illness. He was born August 21, 1926 in Binghamton, NY the son of the late Earl & Margaret (O'Brien) Tinker and was educated in Utica schools. He was married to the former Nita Hubbard who preceded him in death in 1994. Mr. Tinker was a World War II Navy veteran, enlisting in 1943 and was honorably discharged in 1948. Maurice worked for many local roofing contractors in Utica & Syracuse. Mr. Tinker was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include his son, Joseph E. Tinker and wife Lauren of Clayville, 5 daughters, Patricia Esper of Frankfort, Sally DeStefanis and husband Brian of Deerfield, Marion Ostrosky and husband Frank of Frankfort, Tamara Pastorelli of Chadwicks, & Ann Marie Cittadino of Oriskany Falls, NY, a sister, Isabelle Rahn and husband Douglas of Whitesboro, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews. He was pre-deceased by a daughter Rosemary Ostrosky, a son Michael Tinker, a grandson Scott DeStafanis, son-in-law, David Epser, & 3 brothers, John, Robert, & Earl Tinker. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea Family Funeral Home, (Main Street between Frankfort & Ilion).
