Rita M. Vincent, 79 of 6 Keator Dr., Schenectady and formerly of St., Johnsville, passed away on Monday May 23, 2005 at her home. She was born November 17, 1926 in St. Johnsville the daughter of the late Sam & Madelena (Ginquinto) Papa and was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School, class of 1945. Rita also graduated from Albany Business College. Her marriage to Walter H. Vincent took place on November 30, 1952 in Albany, NY. The couple shared a blessed union of 43 years until the passing of Mr. Vincent on October 20, 1996. Mrs. Vincent was employed for 38 years for the US Federal Government. After there she worked for the Albany Department of Motor Vehicles. Rita was a member of St. Patrick?s Church in St. Johnsville. Survivors include a son, Walter L. Vincent and wife Lauren of Guilderland; a daughter Diane Brennan of Schenectady; 3 sisters; Theressa Dolan, Mary Stankewich and husband Zigmont, & Rosie Dolan all of St. Johnsville; 7 grandchildren, Jason Vincent, Scott Vincent, Steve Vincent, Katherine Brennan, Cammie Ford, Michael Brennan and Justin Brennan; 8 great grandchildren, Tommy Bishop, Jennifer Bishop, Cailin Frazier, Kerri Bishop, Paul Brennan, Brennan Donnelly, Liam Donnelly, & Joseph Brennan; and several nieces & nephews. She was pre-deceased by 3 brothers, John, Sam & Dominick Papa, & 2 Sisters, Christine Dolan & Anne Pioggia. Funeral services will be held on Friday May 27, 2005 at 10:00 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY and at 10:30 am from St. Patrick?s Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Thursday May 26, 2005 from 5-8 pm. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family at a later date.
