Obituary of Iva Youker

Miss Iva Mae Youker 89 former Dolgeville resident and who has been a resident of the Folts Home in Herkimer died there Tuesday evening May 17, 2005. Iva was born in Stratford, on November 10, 1915 the daughter of Clarence and Mabel (Durrin) Youker and was educated in rural school. She was employed by the Daniel Green Company of Dolgeville until she retired from there in 1977. Iva was a faithful member of the United Lutheran ?Presbyterian Church of Dolgeville, former Treasure of the Dolgeville Food Pantry, a member and Past President of the Salisbury Center Grange, a Past President of the Pamona Grange and also was a member of the State & National Granges. Iva will be remembered by her family and friends as a volunteer for several area organizations. She is survived by her Sisters Dorothy Stanley of Little Falls, Pearl Vorhees of Little Falls, and A Brother Leonard Youker of Stanton, Mich., Nieces & Nephews. She was predeceased by her Brothers, Carl and William Youker and her Sisters Bertha Cool, Edna Adamko, Margaret Weddle and Evelyn Rutkowski. A Memorial service will be held Tuesday May 24, 2005 at 2PM in the United Lutheran ? Presbyterian Church on Faville Avenue Dolgeville. The Rev. James Paulson will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in the Dolgeville Cemetery. There are NO Calling hours. Memorials maybe made to the Dolgeville Food Pantry or to the S & S ambulance Corps. Envelopes will be available at the services on Tuesday. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville.
