Obituary of Charlotte Bogerd

Charlotte G. Bogerd, 79, of 73 S. Helmer Ave., passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning, October 7, 2004 in Van Allen's Nursing Home, Little Falls. She was born on March 6, 1925 in Dolgeville, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Bessie M. (Plowe) Bogerd and received her education in Dolgeville schools. Survivors include three sisters, Majorie B. Miller of Charlotte, NC, Mary B. and husband Andrew R. Couvoto of Dolgeville, Ruth B. Bibbins of Dolgeville, a brother, Harold E. and wife Vivian Bogerd of Dolgeville, a sister in law, Edna A. Bogerd of Scarboro, ME, a special niece, Caryn C. Riesel of Little Falls and a nephew Richard Couvoto of Stuart, Fl.. She also leaves many close relatives and friends, especially Emily James who was a faithful friend for years. Charlotte was preceded in death by a sister Helen B. Dockerty, a brother, Donald L. Bogerd and a twin brother, Charles G. Bogerd. She was Presbyterian by faith and loved her religion. The family wishes to thank Van Allen's Nursing Home for their tender love and care over the past four years. Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside funeral service which will commence at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2004 in Dolgeville Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were made by Daniel J. Enea, Funeral Director, of the Roberts-Buck Funeral Home, Dolgeville.
