Obituary of Delores Carpenter

Delores Mae Carpenter, 76, of Sweet Hill Road, Dolgeville, passed away on Monday December 27, 2004 at her home with her family by her side. She was born April 2, 1928 in the Town of Oppenheim, the daughter of the late Conrad & Lydia (Reese) Hall, and was educated in local schools throughout the Oppenheim area. Her marriage to Leland A. Carpenter took place on July 6, 1953 in Williamstown, Mass. The couple shared a blessed union of marriage for 47 years until the passing of Mr. Carpenter on February 5, 2001. Delores retired from Daniel Green Shoe Company in Dolgeville, prior to that she worked at Rawling ? Adirondack Industries in Dolgeville. Mrs. Carpenter was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include a son Conrad Carpenter and wife Charline of Dolgeville, her daughters; Donna Baum and husband William of Dolgeville, Patricia Griffin and husband Brian of Dolgeville, Sandra Smith and husband Clark of Sharon Springs, NY Judith Barnes And husband Carl of Dolgeville & Dolores Perkov of Little Falls, 2 step-sons; Leland Carpenter, Jr., and wife Eva of Little Falls, & Frederick Carpenter and wife Linda of Salisbury, Many grandchildren, & great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. She was pre-deceased by a sister Grace Moshier. Memorial service will be held on Friday December 31, 2004 at 1;00 pm at the Roberts ? Buck Funeral Home, 3 Faville Ave., Dolgeville, NY. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Friday From 12:00 noon until the time of the services. Spring interment will be in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills, NY.
