Helen M. Czarnecki, 83 a long time Middleville resident, passed away on Wednesday December 22, 2004 at the Mohawk Valley Nursing Home, Ilion, NY. She was born November 16, 1921 in Herkimer the daughter of the late john & Mary Schafranek. Helen was educated in Middleville schools. Her marriage to Leonard Czarnecki took place at St. Joseph?s Church in Herkimer. Mr. Czarnecki passed away on September 3, 1982. Mrs. Czarnecki was last employed at Martin Deichser Tannery in Middleville. Helen was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Middleville, NY. With family as her foremost priority, Helen proved herself as a loving and caring mother and grandmother. In her leisure she enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers. Survivors include her son, Ronald Czarnecki and wife Linda of Las Vegas, Nevada, 2 daughters, Joanne Clark and husband Thomas of Poland, NY & Linda Hutchins and husband Robert of Middleville, 5 grandchildren, Kelly Nadeau and husband Jeffrey of Holland Patent, NY, Brenda Cook and husband Kenneth of Ilion, Crystal Zipprich and husband Jared of Wyoming, Michigan, Robert (Jamie) Carney and wife Keri of Middleville, & Joshua Hutchins of Middleville, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Virginia Warmouth and 3 brothers, John, Joseph & Edward Schafranek. Funeral services will be held on Monday December 27, 2004 at 7:00 pm from the Holleran - Enea Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer, NY. Spring interment will be in St. John?s Cemetery, Newport, NY. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 pm until the time of the services. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the nurses and staff of the Fourth floor of the nursing home.
