Obituary of Deborah Kuchman

Deborah Cowles Kuchman, age 41, of 208 Irondale Road, Salisbury Center, died on Tuesday August 31, 2004 in Faxton Hospital in Utica after a courageous battle with cancer. Deborah was born on February 24, 1963 in Little Falls, the daughter of Eleanor Castrucci Gordon of Gloversville. She was a graduate of Gloversville High School, class of 1981. Her marriage to Harry A. Kuchman took place on July 6, 1991 in Salisbury Center, NY. Deborah was employed by Cellect LLC of St. Johnsville as a receptionist until her illness required her to leave in 2002. She was very active in her three children's lives, as a Girl Scout Troop Leader, and a soccer mom for the AYSO league. She personally enjoyed "scrapbooking" and jewelry making with her family. She was an avid Minnesota Vikings football fan. She is survived by her beloved husband Harry; her children Tiffany L. Cowles of Herkimer, Joseph Cowles and Samantha Kuchman both of Salisbury Center; her mother Eleanor (Castrucci) Gordon of Gloversville; a sister Michelle (Mooney) Ippolito of Gloversville; a brother Michael Mooney of Gloversville; 3 stepsons; 2 stepdaughters; a step brother and several nieces and nephews. Her family will be present at the Roberts-Buck Funeral Home, 3 Faville Ave., Dolgeville on Saturday September 4, 2004 from 10am to noon to receive family and friends. Private services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the Faxton Hospital Oncology Department in her memory.
