Bruce E. Lawrence, age 63, formerly of 511 First Ave. Ext., Frankfort, died peacefully at home, on Friday September 3, 2004, with his family by his side. Bruce fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. Survivors include his three children, Bruce E. Lawrence Jr., Stacey (Lawrence) Price, Jeffrey Lawrence; his brother, Frank Lawrence Sr. of Herkimer; his sister, Lillian Price of Norway; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 7, 2004, at The Applegate & Day Funeral Home, 102 West St., Ilion, with Rev. John Reams, officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The family wishes to thank the Hospice staff for everything they've done for Bruce especially Lara and Georgia for making his last days very peaceful and comfortable.
