Obituary of Raymond Lynch
Mr. Raymond F. Lynch, 84, of 614 E. John St., Little Falls, entered into eternal rest on Monday evening, July 5, 2004 in Little Falls Hospital, following an extended illness. He was born on November 16, 1919 in the town of Little Falls, a son of the late Arthur and Stella (Mowers) Lynch and was educated in Middleville schools. He was united in marriage with the former Patricia Weaver in 1992. Throughout their union, the couple truly enjoyed many wonderful times together. Ray was last employed with the Herkimer County Home for the Aged in Middleville. He was a communicant of Holy Family Parish Church, Little Falls and was a maintenance man for the church at one time. As a man who was devoted to his family, he always remained active in his family member's lives. He could be counted on as a loving father and grandfather. He was intuitively sensitive to the needs of others, and was always willing to extend himself without hesitation in order to assist anyone in need. In his leisure time he enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors and working in his workshop at his home. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia, at home, his children, Raymond Lynch, Jr. and wife Sherri of Oklahoma City, OK, Joan Lynch of Little Falls, Judy Maxwell and husband Fran of Little Falls, Allen Lynch and wife Peggy of Pennsylvania, Virginia Knapp and husband Ken of Ilion, a brother, Clyde Lynch of Remsen, sisters, Edith Bates and friend LaMont of Dolgeville, Beulah Saltsman of Little Falls, Veronica Richards and husband Howard of Little Falls, extended family, Barry Rowley and wife Donna of Ilion, Daniel Rowley and wife Gail of Dolgeville, Debra Cook of Ft. Plain, Linda Rowley of Little Falls, Bernard J. Weaver and fiance Robin Gay of Oppenheim, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by many brothers and sisters. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls on Wednesday, July 7, 2004 (today) from 5-8 pm. Raymond's funeral will commence at 11 am on Thursday, July 8, from the chapel of the Enea Funeral Home, Little Falls with the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor of Holy Family Parish, Little Falls, officiating. Procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer, where he will be laid to rest.
