Obituary of Clyde Mosher

Clyde R. Mosher, 78 of 62 N. Division St., St. Johnsville, passed away on Monday December 13, 2004 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY. He was born August 30, 1927 in St. Johnsville the Son of the late Clarence and Minnie (Clemons) Mosher and was educated in Nelliston schools. His marriage to Betty Jane Snell took place on February 17, 1946. The couple shared a blessed union of marriage for 49 years until the passing of Mrs. Mosher on April 9, 1995. Mr. Mosher was a World War II Army veteran enlisting on November 2, 1945 and was honorably discharged on June 26, 1947 with the rank of Technician Fifth Grade. Clyde was last employed at Beech-Nut in Canajoharie. Mr. Mosher was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include a son, Calvin Mosher and Robin of Mohawk, 2 daughters, Janice Mosher and Ernie of Stratford, & Joann Pettengill and Michael of St. Johnsville, 1 sister, Tena Darling of Dolgeville, 5 Grandchildren 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother Alfred Mosher. Funeral services will be held on Thursday December 16, 2004 at 10:00 am from the Smith ? Woody and Enea Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY with Reverend Wayne Cole, pastor of the Grace Congregational United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in St. Johnsville Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Wednesday December 12, 2004 from 5-8 pm. All memorial contributions may be made to S.A.V.A.C.
