Obituary of James Mueller
Mr. James L. "Wissy" Mueller, Sr., age 66, of Little Falls, entered into eternal rest on Monday morning, June 21, 2004 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Utica. He was born on December 19, 1937 in Hudson, NY. He was married to his wife Marion on February 21, 1957 Jim served his country enlisting with the United States Army on December 30, 1954. He received an honorable discharge on November 21, 1957. He was a recipient of the Good Conduct Medal. Jim always enjoyed the company of family and friends and was very active within the community of Little Falls. He belonged to the Little Falls Elk's Lodge #42 where he was past exalted ruler, the former Little Falls Moose Lodge, Little Falls American Legion Post #31, Little Falls Polish Club, Little Falls German Mannechoir and was a member of the Dolgeville Rod and Gun Club. In his leisure time he enjoyed golfing and was a talented musician. He leaves his beloved wife Marion, of Little Falls, his mother in law, Violet Smith of Germantown, NY, a son James Mueller, Jr. and wife Judy of Little Falls, a daughter Melonie Cousin and husband Christopher of Stottville, three brothers, Gerald Wood of Hudson, Ronald Wood and wife Marthana of Hudson, and Charlie Webster of Hudson, NY, a sister Charlene Morocco of South Carolina, four grandchildren, Anneice and Claire Cousin and Jordyan and Jovanna Mueller. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and inlaws. He was predeceased by his mother Helen Webster as well as his step father, Charles Webster. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, June 25, 2004 from 9- 11 am at the Enea Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls. A celebration of Jim's life will take place at 11 am on Friday from the chapel of the Enea Funeral Home with the Rev. Jon Noble, officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Kindly consider contributions in his memory to the James L. Mueller, Sr. Memorial Fund. Donations may be made at the funeral home. The following organizations will meet at the funeral home on Friday to conduct services: Little Falls Elk's Lodge #42 at 9:30 am, and the Little Falls American Legion Post #31 at 10:00 am. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff on the third floor at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Utica for all of their care and compassion shown during this difficult time.
