Obituary of Millie Seery

Millie (Ferrone) Seery, 91, of 82 W. Main St., Mohawk, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday morning, July 21, 2004 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Utica, with her children at her side. She was born on January 14, 1913 in New York City, a daughter of the late Palmo and Mary (Nunno) Ferrone and was educated in New York City Schools. She came to the Mohawk Valley in 1979. She was last employed by the Rickie Knitting Mill in Queens, NY. She was a member of the Mohawk Senior Citizens. Millie enjoyed cooking and puzzles in her leisure time. She leaves two children, Daniel V. Seery of Mohawk and Mary Ann Cusworth of Mohawk, two sisters, Lena Serlin and husband Max of Bronx, NY and Fanny Guardino of West Islip, Long Island, her grandchildren, William H. Cusworth, III and wife Heidi of Seattle, WA., Daniel J. Cusworth and wife Vicki of Ilion, Camille Rehm and husband Phil of Whitehall, NY, Mark Cusworth and wife Carol of Mohawk and Michelle Seery of Queens, NY, three great grandchildren, Johna, Hannah and Rachel Cusworth. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Vito Ferrone and by two sisters, Rose Cosentino and Angelina Marino. In keeping with the wishes of Millie, there will be no public calling hours or funeral service. Arrangements were made by the Enea Family Funeral Home.
