Obituary of Ida Weber

Mrs. Ida T. Weber, 82, formerly of Herkimer, entered into eternal rest on Monday afternoon, August 9, 2004 in St. Joseph's Nursing Home, Utica. She was born on October 14, 1921 in Herkimer, daughter of the late Joseph and Theodora Zaleski and was educated in Herkimer schools. She was united in marriage with Zygmunt Weber on February 16, 1952. Mr. Weber passed away in October of 1975. Ida was last employed with the former Montgomery Wards Department Store in Herkimer. She was a communicant of the former St. Joseph Church, Herkimer and a past member of the church rosary society. Survivors include two sons, Joseph Weber and wife Illece of Agoura Hills, CA , Leon Weber and wife Barb of Sandwich, MA, a daughter, Chris Weber Mangini and husband Robin of Cassville, NY, a sister Charlotte Bednarczyk and husband Lawrence of Utica, a sister in law, Adeline Zaleski, five grandchildren, Ashley, Abigail, Sara, and David Weber and Danielle Mangini. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many close friends. Preceding Ida in death were two brothers Joseph Zaleski and Adam Zaleski, a sister Helen Bell and a sister in law Stella Zaleski. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Holleran-Enea Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer on Thursday, August 12, 2004 from 5-8 p.m. Ida's funeral will commence at 9:15 am on Friday, August 13, from the Holleran-Enea Funeral Home, Herkimer, where prayer will be offered and at 10:30 a.m. from the St. Joseph Nursing Home Chapel, Utica where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Funeral procession will follow to Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer where interment will take place. Kindly consider contributions in memory of Ida to St. Joseph Nursing Home.
