Obituary of Dorothy Boulante

Mrs. Dorothy M. "Dotty" Boulante, 93, of West Winfield, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Saturday morning, Sept. 27, 2003, in Valley Health Services, Herkimer. She was born Feb. 14, 1910, in Oriskany Falls and was married to Paul Boulante Sr., who passed away in 1944. She was last employed as a cleaning lady with the West Winfield Police Department and also cleaned for the West Winfield Public Library. Survivors include three beloved daughters, Mildred Toner and husband Robert of Manassas Park, Va., Lola Sisson and husband Lyle of California and Virginia F. Foster of Norwich. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Paul Boulante. The family invites relatives and friends to pay their respects at the Holleran-Enea Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer on Tuesday, Sept. 30, from 9-10 p.m. Dorothy's funeral will commence from the chapel of the Holleran-Enea Funeral Home at the conclusion of the calling hour (10 a.m.) with the Rev. Mark Cunningham, pastor of St. Francis de Sales Church, officiating. Procession will follow to Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer, where she will be laid to rest.
