Mary J. Drapalski, age 99 formerly of Richfield Springs and most recently a resident of Mohawk Homestead died Thursday afternoon, January 30, 2003 at the Little Falls Hospital. Mary was born in Herkimer on January 22, 1903 a daughter of the late John and Amelia Radzak Drabent, and received her education there. She was a former member of St. Joseph's Church, Richfield Springs. Survivors include a nephew and several nieces. Also surviving are many great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and many dear and close friends. She was predeceased by her only son, Charles Maurice in 1984, four brothers, Peter, Casper, John and Edward Drabent and three sisters, Helen and Florence Drabent and Genevieve Dunn. There are no calling hours. A memorial mass will be held in the spring. Burial will take place this spring in Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer at a time to be announced.
