Obituary of Milan Klimacek

Mr. Milan Klimacek, 87, a resident of Little Falls, entered into eternal rest Monday morning, Dec. 15, 2003, in Utica. He was born June 27, 1916, in Clayville, a son of the late George and Anna (Krochan) Klimacek and received his education in Little Falls schools. He married the former Rita Grau on June 5, 1949, in Little Falls. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during World War II, enlisting Feb. 9, 1942, and was honorably discharged in January of 1945. He was last employed by General Electric of Utica as grounds coordinator, retiring after 22 years of dedicated service. He was at one time employed by the former H.P. Snyder Manufacturing Co., Little Falls. Milan enjoyed golfing with his friends Gino Terenzetti and Al Peruzzi and also enjoyed gardening. He was a dedicated family man, always putting the needs of his family before his own. Survivors include his wife, Rita; a son and daughter-in-law, William and Patty (Russo) Klimacek of New Hartford; two sisters, Betty Crimmins of Little Falls and Marge Prokazaka of Little Falls; two cherished grandchildren, John Andrew and Katie Diane. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was predeceased by a brother, George Klimacek and two sisters, Ann Perry and Amelia Dodson. Friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects at the Enea Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, on Wednesday morning, Dec. 17, from 10 a.m. until the time of his funeral service, which will commence at 11 a.m. Committal will be held privately in St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer.
