Mr. Stephen (Ben) Klimek, age 87, of 159 Irving Rd., Rochester, a Little Falls native passed away Friday afternoon, January 10, 2003 in VIA Health of Wayne-Newark Hospital, Newark New York. Mr. Klimek was born on December 6, 1915 in Little Falls, NY, the son of the late John and Elizabeth Klimek. He was a graduate of Little Falls High School. He married Mary Helen Kurgan on October 12, 1940 in Holy Spirit Polish National Catholic Church. The Rev. Bernard Kosior officiated. Mrs. Klimek passed away on May 18, 1996. He served our country with the United States Army, Airforce Division. He was last employed with the former SALADA Tea Corporation. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Polish National Catholic Church, Little Falls. He leaves a son, Roger Klimek and wife Linda of Rochester, a daughter Marlene P. Piscitelli of Rochester and six cherished grandchildren, Niccola, Domenic, Jason, John Amanda and Elisabeth. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls on Monday, January 13, 2003 from 4-7 p.m. Father Marion Pociecha will conduct a prayer service at 4 p.m. Mr. Klimek's funeral will commence at 10:15 am on Tuesday morning, Jan. 14, from the chapel of the funeral home where prayer will be offered and 11 am from the Holy Spirit Polish National Catholic Church, Gansevoort St., Little Falls with the Rev. Marion Pociecha, officiating. Mr. Klimek will be laid to rest this spring in Holy Spirit Polish National Catholic Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. It is the wish of the family that all memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, envelopes may be obtained at the funeral home.
