Obituary of Myron Nebb

Myron Nebb, 83, of 933 Riverview Road, Rexford, passed away Friday, June 6, 2003, at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady. He was born Jan. 24, 1920, in Herkimer, the son of the late John and Anastasia (Mykytuk) Nebarachek, and was educated in Herkimer schools. Myron has been a resident of Rexford for the past 15 years. He was first married to Lena Palamar who passed away June 20, 1984. He was later married to Barbara Zagata Griffin in June 1988. Mr. Nebb was a World War II Army veteran, enlisting in 1940, and was honorably discharged in 1945, with the rank of first lieutenant. For more than 25 years, Myron was a rural letter carrier for the Little Falls Post Office. Mr. Nebb was a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Little Falls, and while residing in Little Falls he belonged to many organizations and civic groups. Survivors include his wife Barbara; his daughters, Barbara Ann Nebb of South Glastonbury, Conn., Paula D. Nebb of South Glastonbury, Conn., Catherine Dobies of Scotia and Linda Valencik of Pennsylvania; a sister, Malvina Perih of Florida; one grandson, Kyle Wilber; and a niece and nephew. He was predeceased by a brother. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 10, at 11 a.m. from the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Little Falls, with the Rev. Dr. Steven A Scarcia, rector, officiating. Interment will follow at Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls. Friends and relatives may call at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church on Tuesday morning from 9 until the time of the services. In lieu of flowers please make all memorial contributions to the Emmanuel Episcopal Church or to the Little Falls Hospital. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls.
