Mr. Arthur Allston McCoy, 72, of Lake Isabella, California, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002, in California. He was born on Feb. 3, 1930, in Ilion, son of the late Allston and Alma (Fallon) McCoy, Sr., and was educated in Ilion schools. He had been a resident of California for many years. His wife, Mary McCoy, passed away on May 4, 2002. Art has served for many years as a counselor for AA, having been affiliated with Kuwala House. He is survived by his children including two sons, Daniel Bernard McCoy of Albany, and John McCoy of Utah; three daughters, Tammy, Tina and Barbara McCoy; two brothers, Allston McCoy, Jr. and his wife Eunice of Mohawk, and Robert McCoy and wife Josephine of Ilion; four sisters, Marion Worlock of Florida, Barbara McCoy of Dolgeville, Virginia Shaw of Schuyler and Theresa Foster of Arizona; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Art was predeceased by a sister, Esther Dubrava. Funeral services were held in Westminster, California. Those wishing are asked to consider donations locally to the American Diabetes Association.
