Obituary of Terry Carpenter

Mr. Terry Lynn Carpenter 56 of 2489 State Hwy. 29 Salisbury Center, died Saturday June 19, 2010 at his residence after an extended illness. At the time of his passing he was supported with the Love of his wife and family. He was born in Little Falls on September 23, 1953 the son of the later Ernest R. and Jessie E. (Vedder) Carpenter and was a graduate of Dolgeville Central School, class of 1972. His marriage to Terry Lynne Mowers took place on July 22, 1978 at the home of her parents in Marcy, New York. Terry was employed by the Burrows Paper Company of Little Falls as a foreman, retiring from there due to his health. He was of the Methodist faith, and he his personal interests were in fishing, hunting and spending time at their camp at Schmount Bay with family and friends. Surviving him is his wife Terry, a Son and his wife Kenneth and Morenike Carpenter of Averill Park, NY, a Daughter Amy Carpenter of Salisbury, his Brothers and their wives Richard and Teal Carpenter of Stratford, Bruce and Laurie Carpenter of Dolgeville, Norman Carpenter of Stratford, Lynn and Tammy Carpenter of Salisbury, his Sisters and their husbands ,Norma Van Heusen of Mohawk, Cindy and Aaron Loren of Poland, Sharlene and Mike Burke of Mississippi, Lois and Richard Jones of Salisbury, Lenore Brys of Salisbury and Sarah and Douglas Jenison of Dolgeville, his half brothers Matthew Carpenter of Dolgeville, Scott Carpenter with the US Air Force, and John Carpenter of Dolgeville, His Mother in Law Joan Mowers of Dolgeville his Brother and Sister in laws John and Kathleen Mowers of Salisbury Center and Richard and Laura Mowers of Marcy, several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday evening June 22, 2010 at 7 Pm at the Roberts & Enea Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville, with Theresa Grescheck officiating. Calling hours are from 5 PM until the time of the service at 7PM. In keeping with his wishes cremation will follow on Wednesday and private interment of his cremains will be at the convenience of the family.
