FRANKFORT-WEST WINFIELD - Donald “Papi” Hatmaker, age 56, of 793 Babcock Rd., West Winfield, NY, formerly of Frankfort, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown. He was born on Dec. 3, 1953, in Oklahoma City, OK. Don was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. On Feb. 14, 2007, he was married to Rebecca Judson in West Winfield. Mr. Hatmaker was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor at Faster Forms Corp., W. Frankfort, for over 15 years. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca; nine children, Shawn Hatmaker and his fiancée, Ann Marie, Vanessa Hatmaker and her fiancé, John Whitehead, Jackie Klein and her husband, Matthew, Amanda Doolen, and Elisha, Rochelle, Rachael, Naomi and Elizabeth Collette; five grandchildren, Alyssa and Maria Klein, and Alivia, Reuben Jr. and Adam Pratt; several nieces, nephews, in-laws and loved ones; and his family dog, Baby Hatmaker. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m., Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Rd., Ilion, with Rev. Fred Collette officiating. Calling hours are Thursday, July 15, 2010, from 12:30 p.m.- 2:30 p.m., prior to the funeral home service.
