Obituary of Norman Carpenter

Norman Charles Carpenter 46 of 191 Seeley Road Stratford, died unexpectedly Sunday October 17, 2010 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville after suffering an apparent heart attack earlier in the week. Norman was born in Little Falls on December 11, 1963 the son of the late Ernest Raymond and Jessie Elizabeth (Vedder) Carpenter and was educated in Dolgeville schools. In the Fall of 1983 he was married to the former Michelle Mosenthin. Norm was a handyman, and enjoyed fixing and trading mechanical items and he also enjoyed hunting. His fondest enjoyment was his family, especially his Nieces and Nephews. Surving him is a son Lou Mosenthin and a Daughter Lisa Carpenter, his Brothers and their wives Richard and Teal carpenter of Stratford, Bruce and Laurie Carpenter of Dolgeville , Lynn and Tammy Carpenter of Dolgeville, his Sisters and their husbands, Norma Van Heusen of Missouri, Cindy and Aaron Loren of Poland, Sharlene and Mike Burke of Mississippi, Lois and Richard Jones of Salisbury, Lenore Brys of Stratford, Sarah and Douglas Jenison of Dolgeville, his half Brothers Matthew Carpenter of Dolgeville, Scott Carpenter of the US Air Force, John Carpenter of Dolgeville, several Nieces and Nephews and his Special Friend Joan Forbes. He was predeceased by a brother Terry Lynn Carpenter on June19, 2010. Funeral services will be held Thursday October 21, 2010 at 11 AM at the Universalist Church in Salisbury Center. Rev. James Thomas will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may see the family prior to and after the services at the church. His arrangements were entrusted to Brian A. Roberts of the Roberts & Enea family Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville.
