Oppenheim/Little Falls: Mr. Anthony D. Camarra, 57, of the town of Manheim, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in St. Mary’s Hospital, Amsterdam. Anthony was born on June 23, 1953 in Little Falls, a son of the late Joseph and Pasqua (DeSantis) Camarra. He was a graduate of Oppenheim-Ephratah School and Olean College. He was a lifelong area resident, living in the Little Falls area and Oppenheim. Mr. Camarra was a Special Education Teacher at Hamilton-Fulton-Montgomery County B.O.C.E.S. in Canajoharie. Anthony is survived by a brother, Joseph Camarra and his wife Elyse of Chicago, IL; sisters, Terese Woodward and her husband James of Rutland, VT and Dianne Friedel and her husband Al of Middlegrove, NY; nephews, Nicholas Woodward of Rutland and Joseph and Joshua Friedel of Middlegrove; aunts and uncles, Angeline and Donald Entwistle, Pat DeSantis, and Gloria DeSantis; and many cousins. Mr. Camarra was an avid reader and loved music. He loved sports, exercising, and he especially loved to play basketball. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 5-7 pm at Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe Street, Little Falls (823-2424). Anthony’s funeral will commence at the conclusion of calling hours and will take place at the funeral home. Burial will be in the spring at West St. Johnsville Cemetery.
