STRATFORD- Mr. James W. August, 53, of Piseco Rd, passed away on February 25, 2012 at his residence. He was born on July 22, 1958, in Little Falls, son of the late William and Beverly (Kinville) August. James worked as a maintenance worker for North Hudson in Dolgeville, Earl Phelps Exxon in Herkimer, Richard's Machine Shop in Herkimer, Cy Young of Little Falls, Coleco and MCA Records in Gloversville. James loved cars, beer and good times. He especially loved music and would have it playing 24/7. He also loved old antique engines and drag racing. Survivors include his sisters: Erminia August of Little Falls and Mary Murphy of Little Falls; his brother Mark August of Little Falls; his significant other Susan Guy of Stratford; his son Raymond August and his nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother in law Michael Murphy. Memorial visitation will be held at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls from 4-6pm on Thursday March 1, 2012. There will be a religious service at the conclusion of calling hours. The family would like to extend a special thank you to: Mountain Valley Hospice, Bob and Marybeth Cammon, Glen and Lorraine Albano, Dale Keck, Dave Murphy and all of James' caregivers.
