Obituary of William Trumble

EPHRATAH- William "Bill" Addison Trumble,77, beloved husband,father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Little Falls Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 9, 1934, in the village of Ames, son of the late Horatio F. and Reba (Mallette) Trumble. He married his loving wife Karen of 56 years on June 30, 1956. They resided in the Town of Ephratah where together they owned a Hobby farm and raised their 10 children.Bill worked for the Town of Ephratah Highway Department. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the Ephratah Fire Department.During his retirement his favorite pasttime was spending time with his family and riding his four wheeler. Survivors include his wife Karen; his sons: Laird Trumble (Rose) of Palatine Bridge, Reuben Trumble (Kim) of Ephratah, Fayette Trumble (Rebecca) of Ephratah and William Trumble (Trish) of Ephratah; his daughters: Marlene Arminio (Robert) of Ephratah, Shawn Dubois (Phillip) of Hubbardton, Vermont, Lolene Cornish (Barry) of Kirkwood, Darla Crouse (Jeffrey) of Van Hornesville, Reba Trumble (Tom) of Oppenheim and Karen Sue Hodsoll of Ephratah; his grandchildren: Shannon (Gillen), Veronica (Justin), Horatio (Kim), Stacy (Shawn), Gina,Alex, Aaron, Brittney, Ryan, Lorena, Nathaniel, Karis, McKenzie, Brennan, Ethan and Makayla; his great grandchildren: Haley, Austin, Christopher, Tristen, Rebecca, Samuel, Isabella, Ian, Hunter and Brooke and his sisters: Alice, Maxine, Janette, Dorothea, Mary-Jane, Ruth and Ethel. He was predeceased by his sister Betty-Jean, his brother Charles Trumble and his granddaughter Karen Ann. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 1pm-2pm at the Ephratah Reformed Church. A religious service will be held at 2pm at the church. Procession will follow to Ephratah Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. The family is being cared for by the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, John P.
