ST. JOHNSVILLE- Geraldine Damin,89, formerly of St. Johnsville, is finally at peace, having passed away on April 4, 2012 in Houston, TX. She was born on January 19, 1923, in Brooklyn, daughter of the late Anna and Saverio Bove. She was married to Edward Damin who passed away in 1994 and who was a dairy farmer in St. Johnsville. She was the Justice of The Peace in St. Johnsville for many years. Geraldine had a rich and interesting life. After her retirement She and Ed traveled widely, visiting Europe many times. She especially loved visiting the United Kingdom, Mexico, Italy and Australia. Survivors include her 4 children: Judith, Steven (Barb), Gail (Pete) and Paul (Lee); her 4 grandchildren: Amy Damin Franco (Marc) of Syracuse, Erin Damin Niklas (John) of Schoharie, Neil Damin (Alysia) U.S. Army, Fort Drum and William Damin of Los Angeles, CA; her 2 great grandchildren: Matthew Franco and Thomas Niklas; her cherished sister Vera DeSanti and many friends. She was predeceased by her other sisters and her brother. Burial will be in the fall at the convenience of the family. Both Geraldine's cremains and her husband Ed's cremains will be interred at that time. The family is being assisted by the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, John P.
