Richfield Springs: Theresa C. Lattuca, 87, of Richfield Springs and formerly of Buffalo, passed away peacefully, May 13, 2012 in the Martin Lutheran Home, Clinton, with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 11, 1924, in Buffalo, the daughter of the late Philip and Mary Mancuso Sciumeca and was a graduate of Buffalo schools. Theresa married Salvatore J. Lattuca in Buffalo. Mr. and Mrs. Lattuca were long time residents of Buffalo before moving to the Mohawk Valley to be closer to their son. Prior to her retirement, Theresa was the office manager for Grover Cleveland High School in Buffalo for many years. She was a dedicated home maker, and lived her life around family, friends and church. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Salvatore; her son and daughter-in-law, Angelo and Vicki Lattuca of Richfield Springs; her brother, Joseph Sciumeca of Buffalo; her grandchildren Paul and Christina Lattuca and Melissa and Rob Beutel; her great grandchildren, Evan and Myla Lattuca and Branden and Kyle Beutel; her step grandchildren, Eric Brodock and his fiancée, Vivian Martinez and Kerey Brodock and her fiancée, Adam Dorn; her step great grandchildren, Kiara and Kailey Brodock and Adam Joseph Dorn; her in-laws, Edward Lattuca, Joseph Lattuca, Charles and Dolly Lattuca and Anthony and Donna Lattuca and many nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her daughter, Marilyn Wasik and her sisters-in-law, Philomena Mattina, Frances Lattuca and Angela Fortushnick. In Keeping Theresa's wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral service. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
