Martha M. Moore, 84, of Herkimer, passed away peacefully, May 14, 2012 in the Folts Home, Inc., Herkimer. She was born on May 18, 1927, in Herkimer, the daughter of the late George D. and Freda F. Schultz Cruikshank. Martha was a graduate of Herkimer High School. In 1945, she married Gilbert F. Moore. Mr. Moore passed away in 2003. She was a devoted member of the New Life Church, Herkimer, where Martha was very active and enjoyed church activities. Martha is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Vito Papa of Ilion; her son and daughter-in-law, Darrel and Elaine Moore of Herkimer; her sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Alan Cole of CT; her grandchildren, Lisa and Merril Holtz, Rachel Papa, Becky Bowman, Ronald Moore, Jena Moore, and Dana McGraw; her great grandchildren, Kari Holtz, Steve Neale, Josephine McGraw and Gabriel Bowman; her great great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son Ronald K. Moore, her sister, Irene Ruth Cruikshank and her grandson, Mark Holtz. Martha's funeral will be held 10 AM, Thursday May 17, 2012 from the New Life Church, 337 Protection Ave., Herkimer. Interment will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington Street, Herkimer, Wednesday May 16, 2012, 6-8 PM. The family is being served by Scott J.
