Mr. Herbert Leroy Gardner 71 of 11 Barber Street Fonda, New York , and former Salisbury resident, died Thursday June 21, 2012 at the Palatine Nursing Home where he was a resident since May 21st. Herbert was born in Salisbury, New York on August 2, 1940 the son of Ernest and Mary (Carpenter) Gardner and was educated in local schools. He was employed by the Little Falls Hospital in the maintenance depart for many years. Surviving him are a Brother Donald and his wife Virginia Gardner of Leesburg, Florida, his sister and their husbands Leita and Robert Murphy of Ocala, Florida and Erma and Ronald Siver of Dolgeville and several nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in July at the Dibble-Tuttle Cemetery, town of Salisbury. There are No Calling hours. Arrangements were entrusted to Brian A.
