Obituary of Leah Marie Holtz

Little Falls: Leah Marie Holtz, 26, of Curtis Road, Little Falls, (town of Salisbury) passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 29, 2012. Leah was born on October 23, 1985 in Ilion, a daughter of Lee and Michele (Bluett) Holtz. She lived most of her life in Ilion and was a graduate of Ilion High School. Leah was a member of the Ilion First Baptist Church. Leah is survived by her children, Victoria Marie Andrea, Loretta Lou Lamphere and Conor Wendell Bluett; her parents, Lee and Michele, sisters, Adaire Holtz and Vanessa Patrei; brothers, Lee Holtz, Jr. and Michael Holtz; a grandmother, Helen Bluett, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Danford Bluett, a grandmother, Mary Holtz, her stepmother, Kimberly Holtz, a cousin, Sonia Zeockler and Bradley Lamphere, the father of Loretta Lou. Leah loved life and enjoyed many things, such as music and fishing, but she especially cherished the time spent with her children, her sisters and her mom. She was an accomplished fisherman, much better than those more experienced than she was. She also liked to keep in touch with her friends, and her nieces and nephews on Facebook. She loved macaroni with butter and shaker cheese. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion, NY on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 11-1 pm. Her funeral service, also at the funeral home, will take place at the conclusion of calling hours, followed by procession to Salisbury Rural Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. Arrangements are under the direction of Kevin E. Enea, Funeral Director, Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home. To add to Leah's online memorials, please visit our website at www.eneafamily.com.
