Little Falls: Annette Ruffo, 94, of Flint Avenue, passed away on August 13, 2012 in Folts Homes, Herkimer. Annette was born on June 14, 1918 in Little Falls, a daughter of the late Donato and Sara (Guisto) Ruffo. She was a lifelong resident of Little Falls, and received her education there. Annette was employed by Merrill Dress Shop, then Salada Tea Company, both in Little Falls. Surviving her are a niece, Robin Whitcomb and her husband Kevin, and a nephew, Daniel Ruffo and his wife Carol Brown, all of Little Falls; two grandnieces, Melodie Whitcomb Day and Alyese Simpson; great-greatnephews, Zachary Williams, Amber Simpson, and Jacob Day; along with several cousins. Annette was predeceased by her parents, Donato and Sara, sisters, Milly Spadea and her husband Sam, and Lucy Catarelli, and brothers, Louis J. Ruffo and Peter Ruffo. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, August 22, at 10 am in St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer. In keeping with Annette's wishes, there are no public calling hours.
