Obituary of Elizabeth Kryc

UTICA- Elizabeth Kryc, age 91, of Utica, formerly of NYC and Ilion, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2012 at the Masonic Care Center in Utica. She was born on October 7, 1920; daughter of the late John & Maria (Sadlon) Zguris. She was united in marriage with the late Joseph A. Kryc. Their loving union lasted almost 50 years until his passing in 1991. Elizabeth was a faithful member of the Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Little Falls. She enjoyed her family and many friends. She loved music. reading, and her cookbook collection. She was a member of the Ilion Historical Society and the Widowed Persons Association. Survivors include her sons : Joseph Kryc and his wife Ellen of Arizona and Paul Kryc and his wife Debby of Florida her grandchildren: Kelly Kryc, Shannon Kolacevski, and Tambra Kryc,the mother of her 3 great grandchildren, her nieces: Ann Pargansky and Mildred S. Walach, her nephews : Stephen Kovac and Paul M. Walach as well as many great grandnieces and nephews She was predeceased by sister Suzanna Walach, her niece Elizabeth Bugaj, her nephew John M. Kovac, and her grandson Eric Kryc (loving son of Paul and Debby). The family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe St, Little Falls from 10am - 11am on Thursday August 30, 2012. A religious service will be held on Thursday following the calling hours at 11:30am at the Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Joseph Famulare officiating. Procession will follow to Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Joseph. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Elizabeth's name to the Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Little Falls. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
