Ms. Catherine Adeline Pennucci 61 of 110 Canady Lane Herkimer, died unexpectedly Monday January 21st, 2013 at her residence of natural causes. Catherine was born in Little Falls on October 12, 1951 the daughter of the late John F. and Shirley A. (Myers) Mitchell and attended Dolgeville schools. She was married to Joseph Pennucci on August 10, 1970 in Dolgeville. Mr. Pennucci predeceased her in January 2012. She was employed by the F.E. Hale Company of Frankfort until illness forced her to retire. Catherine was an avid reader and especially enjoyed animals, her cats and her dog "Gracie". She also enjoyed traveling and the time spent with her family. She is survived by a daughter Carmella Pennucci of Albany, her brothers John F. Mitchell Jr. of Herkimer, Arthur and Robert Mitchell both of Dolgeville James Mitchell of Herkimer, Raymond Myers of North Carolina and Donald Avery of Ilion. She was predeceased by a brother William C. Mitchell on December 30, 2005. Additionally there are Nieces and Nephews especially MelodyAnn Collins of Herkimer. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Friday evening January 25 from 4-6 pm at the Roberts & Enea Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville.
