Obituary of James R. Ferrucci

James R. Ferrucci, 82, lifelong resident of Little Falls, passed away peacefully, Monday, February 18, 2013, in Faxton- St. Luke's Healthcare Center, New Hartford. He was born on March 9, 1930, in Little Falls, the son of the late Joseph and Elisei Eligia Ferrucci and attended Little Falls schools. On August 9, 1957, Jim married the former Natalie Heafey in St. Joseph's Church, Little Falls. Mrs. Ferrucci passed away April 8, 1990. Prior to retirement, Jim was a carpenter for Scialdo Construction for many years. He was a former member of the Decarlo Staffo Post #8, Little Falls. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Nelson Putnam of Fulton; his sister and brother-in-law, Josephine and Greg Kabot of Utica; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Anthony and Mary Jane Ferrucci of Utica and Rocco and Sandy Ferrucci of Nebraska; his grandchildren and their spouses, Jason and Allyson Putnam of Portland, ME, Jeffrey and Rita Putnam of Minetto, NY and Christine and Adam Wood of Rochester, MN; his great grandchildren, Albert Putnam, Corbin Putnam and Natalie Wood and several nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his sister, Ida Barretta on July 23, 2010. Jim's funeral will commence at 11:30 a.m. Friday February 22, 2013 from the chapel of the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer, where he will be laid to rest next to his wife, Natalie. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to kindly consider donations, in Jims' memory, to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
