Little Falls: Richard "Rich" J. Rice, 52, of Little Falls, passed away peacefully, Friday February 22, 2013, with his loving family by his side, following a brief illness. He was born on October 7, 1960 in Little Falls, the son of Donald Rice, Sr. and the late Shirley (Grose) Rice, and attended Little Falls schools. On June 4, 1983, Rich married the former Katherine Seaman in Little Falls. Prior to his retirement, he was employed with ConMed, Utica. During his free time, Rich enjoyed listening to music and riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his loving wife, Katherine; his father, Donald Rice, Sr.; his children, Jennifer Rice of Little Falls, Paul and Lisa Rice of Ilion, Nathaniel Rice of Little Falls and Shawn Rice of Little Falls; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald Rice, Jr. and Ginger Pratt, David Rice, John and Cheryl Rice and Justus and Shay Rice, all of Little Falls; his very special granddaughter, Brianna Rice; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws. Rich's funeral will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from the chapel of the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe Street, Little Falls with Deacon Joseph Delorenzo, officiating. Spring interment will be made at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, from 4 p.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home.
