STRATFORD- Mr. Morris "Maurice" Testa, 93. of Hadcock Rd., passed away on March 20,2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 10, 1920, in New York City, son of the late Issac and Bernice (Cohen) Testa. He was united in marriage with Alice Crawford. Morris worked as a salesman/businessman for I Murray in Whitestone,NY. Morris was a wonderful and upright husband. He and his wife were best friends. He was a very loving person who loved children, a great father, an unbelievable provider and a good and generous brother who was always there for his family. He loved scrapbooking and was also an excellent carpenter and swimmer. He was also one of the best salesman ever! Survivors include his children: Douglas testa and his wife Rosemary of Lebanon,NJ, Lewis Issac testa and his wife Mary Beth of Massapequa,NY, Barry Testa of Oceanside,CA and Karen Jaquay and her husband Harry of Stratford,NY; his 7 grandchildren: Jonathan, Jaime, Christopher, Kate, Ruth, Traci and Matthew; his 4 great grandchildren; Merrick, Gabriel, Candence and Ayla Testa; his brother Sal Testa; his sister Estraya Kirschenbaum and his numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sisters: Esther Cohen and Mary Bernstein and by his brother Joseph Testa. In keeping with Morris' wishes there are no calling hours and the funeral is private.
