ILION - Barbara (Collette) A. Bouck, 73, formerly of Ilion, passed away into the arms of the Lord on Saturday April 13, 2013, at Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare, New Hartford with her family by her side. She was born on April 26, 1939, in Middleville and attended Ilion schools. Barbara was a nurse's aide working at various private duty and nursing services in Herkimer Co. and Utica. She devoted her life to the care of elderly people and children. Survivors include her children, Bertha Hines and husband, Booker, Kathy Hazeltine, Walter Hazeltine III, Margaret Ann Ludwig, and Frederick Charles Ludwig; five grandchildren, Kara, Carlissa, Brittany, Zachary, and Xavier; four sisters, Deloris Collette, Nancy DeRusso, Pat Allen and her husband, John, Daureen Gifford and her husband, Wayne; five brothers, Ronald Collette and his wife, Rosalina, Frederick Collette, James Tubia and his wife, Mary, Dennis Tubia and his wife, Sandy, Robbie Tubia; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. She was predeceased by her sons, Freddie Russell Collette and Michael Murray; father and mother, James and Bertha Tubia; husband, Ward Bouck; and sisters, Pauline Cummings and Theresa Larabee. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at the Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Rd., Ilion, with Major James Smith officiating. Burial will be in Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2013, from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral home service.
