Well if you all know Pa Johnson like I did you would know how he loves his gardens, Him and Ma had planted their vegetables and the carrots and lettuce were coming in good, he had him a little fence up to keep the "critters" out.
He was proud of his harvest and was going to share those carrots with me, he went to get them and ask me to come with him, we go out and there sitting a pretty as a peacock was bugs this fat little rabbit and every darn one of those carrots were gone. he was so mad and at the same time laughed his head off.
