ST. JOHNSVILLE- Josephine Boonen, 94, a resident of St. Johnsville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center since 2007, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2013 at the facility with her loving grandson Kirk at her side. She was born on February 1, 1919, in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Waltina (Lewendowski) Czarnecki. She was married to the late Charles Boonen. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Survivors include her son Robert Boonen and his wife Marion of Florida; her 2 grandchildren: Chance Boonen and his wife Sue of Maine and Kile Boonen and his wife Eileen of Dolgeville; her 4 great grandchildren: Tyler, Hunter, Chad and Alicia Boonen and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter in law Tina Boonen. In keeping with Josephines' wishes there are no calling hours . A Memorial Talk will be held at 2pm on July 7, 2013 at Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah Witnesses, 679 Brockett Rd., Dolgeville.
