Obituary of Jennie Foster

Mrs. Jennie C. Foster 94 a resident of Parkside Court 53 South Main Street Dolgeville, died Sunday evening September 1, 2013 at her residence with the love and support of her family at her side. She was born in the town of Little Falls, on October 24, 1918 the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Marcewicz) Nalaskowski and was educated in Eatonville schools. Her marriage to Harry F. Foster Sr. took place on October 2nd, 1938 in the Baptist Church in Little Falls. Mr. Foster predeceased her on February 26, 1996. Mrs. Foster had been employed by both the Little Frocks Dress Company of Little Falls and retiring from the Daniel Green Company of Dolgeville in 1981. She was a member of the former St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Fairfield and Middleville, the Salisbury Center Fire Company Ladies Auxilly and personally enjoyed bingo and gardening especially flowers. Surviving her is a son and his wife Harry and Betty foster of Salisbury, her daughters and their husbands Diane and Clinton Helms of Las Vegas, Elaine and John Stanley of Alaska and Karen Borst and her companion Stephen Prentice of Freeville, NY, a Brother William Nalaskowski of Canadarago Lake, 19 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren and two Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces and nephews. She was pre deceased by her sons James on March 18, 2010 and Thomas on October 11, 1991 her great grandchildren Bradley Borst, John StanleyIV, Jason Foster, and a brother Joseph, and her Sisters Helen Miller, Mary Pavalock, Stella Peteskovek, Bessie Golowicz and Lottie Mettot. Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 4th, 2013 at 1PM at the Roberts & Enea Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville. Rev. Joseph A. Famulare of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Little Falls will officiate. Burial will follow in the Salisbury Rural Cemetery.
