Obituary of Mary Ann Holzhauer

ST. JOHNSVILLE - Mrs. Mary Ann (DeGristina) Holzhauer, age 71, of Route 5, St. Johnsville, passed away on Wednesday morning, October 30, 2013 in Florida. Her family was at her side. She was born on October 8, 1942 in Herkimer, NY a daughter of the late Sam and Florence (Paratore) DeGristina and was educated in St. Johnsville schools. She practiced the Catholic faith. Her marriage to Donald W. Holzhauer took place in 1967. Her loving family survives including her husband Don; children: Frederick Pierce and his wife Agatha of St. Johnsville; Donna Henshaw and her husband Bob of Florida; Cheri Kramer of Florida and Diana Pettit of St. Johnsville; her sisters Jeanie Wright and Joanie Citriniti of Utica; brothers Joe Paratore and wife Jane of Florida; David Treen of Utica; Robert DeGristina and wife Maria of Utica; Tom DeGristina of Utica and Anthony DeGristina and wife Patricia of Utica, along with grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother Jim and a sister Mamie. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 4, 2013 at 10:00 AM from The Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center Street St. Johnsville, NY with the Reverend Dennis Murphy, Pastor of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Fort Plain, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Johnsville Cemetery. Friends and relatives may pay their respects one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday from 9 until 10 AM at the funeral home.
