Cirillo, Jr. on September 7, 1946 at Blessed Sacrament Church, Mohawk. He died on May 18, 2006. Mrs. Cirillo founded and was past President of the Better Breathers Club of the Mohawk Valley which led to the forming of seven other clubs in the ten county area which was sponsored by the American Lung Assoc. She was also a devoted Girl Scout leader for many years. When recalling Rose's life, we especially remember her warm, loving ways. A friend to all, she was truly a friend who unselfishly assisted anyone who needed help. She truly embodied the definition of nurturer, always there to offer a prayer and a meal. She was a great cook and baker. We can still smell her signature sauce and meatballs that were ever present on the stove. Her hobbies included crocheting, ceramics, macramé, gardening and working crossword puzzles and the Jumble. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Victoria and Thomas Whittaker, of Norwich, Angela and James Traglia, of Mohawk, Julie Rose and Kevin Joyce, of Mohawk; her sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph A. The family would also appreciate Mass cards, because Rose was a devout Catholic with a great devotion to the Holy Rosary and Divine Mercy.
