Obituary of Frederick A Quick

ILION - Funeral services for Frederick A. Quick have been thoughtfully planned by his loving and caring family. They regretfully became aware of his passing which occurred on Thursday morning, November 21, 2013. His age was 51. The local paramedics worked extremely hard to save "Fred" as we affectionately remember him. This experience was a first time for his family, having never gone through anything quite like this before. But the memories are fond and they have been extremely touched and blessed by all those who have made the pain a bit easier. The guidance shown by angels around us have gotten us where we are today, which has been the proper planning of a beautiful funeral service in his memory. In the words of his family: "We were amazed by the response of the local paramedics, the professionalism of the staff of the Little Falls Hospital, especially mentioning the Emergency Room staff and the sincerity of the Herkimer County Coroner. All have made our family feel at home and 'extra' special.'' The family invites relatives and friends to join with them at calling hours at The Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Town of Frankfort, Ilion, NY on Monday evening November 25th from 6 until 8 PM. A service of remembrance will begin at 8 PM led by family friend Dave Schlaegel. Fred's wish of cremation will follow the services later this week. The family is being served by funeral directors Harry & Kevin Enea. An online note of sympathy may be extended at www.eneafamily.com (315-894-8000). Fred was born on May 8, 1962 in Herkimer, NY a son of the late Donald and Jennette (Sherrick) Trask, and was educated in Ilion schools.
