Little Falls: Tillman Hudson, 68, of Fords Bush Road, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 19, 2013 in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica. Tillman was born on October 8, 1945 in Macon, Georgia, a son of Curtis Mae Shelton. He was married to the former Patricia Ann Friot, who passed away on October 29, 2007. He entered service in the United States Army in 1963, courageously serving in Vietnam until his honorable discharge in 1966. Mr. Hudson worked for several years at Otis Elevator Company. He was also formerly employed at Montrose Veterans Hospital, pest control for the Federal Government, and the State of New York. He owned several businesses, including a record shop, real estate, and the Diamond H. Ranch. Survivors include his daughters, Nicole Hudson and Stephanie Hudson of Utica; sons and daughter-in-law, Lamont Hudson of Mayfield, NY, Jason and Shanika Hudson of Vine Grove, KY, and Tillman Hudson, Jr. of Beacon, NY; grandchildren, Breauna Hudson, Keyauna Hudson, Romel Burvick, Asaiah Hudson, Lamont Hudson, Jr., Dylan Lyle, Trevor Gifford, Daveon Hudson, Cheyanne Hudson, Jada Hudson, DeVante Wright, Sonjai Hudson-Pollock, Elidonya Hudson and Romel Noah Hudson; brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Tina Green of Poughkeepsie, NY and Larry and Barbara Green of Hopewell, NY; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Fambrough of Poughkeepsie, NY, Alice and Sam Lyons of Maryland, and Leona Johnson, also of Poughkeepsie; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Tillman was predeceased by his beloved wife, Patricia Ann Hudson; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clarence and Dorothy Friot; a son, Romel Hudson on November 10, 1998; brothers, Robert Green and his wife Catherine, and Vernon Green; sister-in-law, Linda Harrell and brother-in-law, Bruce Friot. Tillman Hudson was a beloved, hard working man who left an everlasting impact on everyone and anyone he came in contact with. He will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to Tillman's funeral service officiated by Reverend Mary Alice Hawkins at St. James A.M.E. Church, 386 Main Street, New York Mills on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 3:00 PM. Tillman's family has gathered privately to say their goodbyes at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion (town of Frankfort).
