Julia's family is so very thankful for the loving care that she received during her stay. Mrs. Komar was born on August 23, 1926 in Oppenheim, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Piniaha) Malinoski. On May 29, 1948, she and Edward Komar were married in Fort Plain, and together shared 59 years of love and devotion until his passing on December 23, 2007. Julia was last employed at Helmont Mills, St. Johnsville, and at one time, worked at Luxuray in Fort Plain. She leaves behind her loving family: a daughter, Deborah Komar of Broadalbin; a son, Edward and his wife Nancy of Hyde Park; a son-in-law, Jim Trotta of Delmar; grandchildren, Alicia Komar and Jared and his wife Robyn Komar; sisters, Annie Gniewek and Amelia Pingelski of Clifton Park; along with several nieces and nephews. Julia was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward, along with several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Komar loved the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
