My sincere condolences to the family of Scott K. Ray - May you find comfort in your loving memories, great pictures and in recalling the many talents of Mr. Ray. It was not God's purpose that mankind suffer and die. The Creator has promised that a time will come when no one will say "I am sick" (Isaiah 33:24). The Bible promises a resurrection of dear family members and friends that we have lost (John 5:28, 29). The Paradise that was originally promised for the earth in the Garden of Eden will be fulfilled causing God's "will to be done as in Heaven also upon Earth" (Matthew 6:9,10). Please find comfort in Bible promises of a hopeful future (John 17:3).

Amanda and I were 16, we had just gotten our driving licences. We started to leave the HHS parking lot and our car was making this loud, horrendous sound. We called you because we didn't know what else to do and there was no way we were going to call our father. You said, "do you think you can drive it up to the garage?" I replied, "Yes, but all of Herkimer will know we are coming because it is so loud." We pulled up in front of the garage, and you were out front waiting for us. You said, "Well, I can see from here that you have a very serious problem. Which one of you wants to call your father?" We both looked at each other, hoping he would be the one to tell dad. You then started laughing and said, "you got the mud flap caught in the tire!" RIP Uncle Scott. You will truly be missed.
